Im writing this and using Jah in the current and second hand term? idk if this accurate. But this is our vernacular..fuck it, it's how I speak. My sun (son) through the darkest of days and my brightest light to survive. His glow. Pathway

ive failed my son. more than i ever even realized the amount of failure in which  i failed him.
 he knew
he always knew
 he never wanted for me to see his high school scores.  he gave up, no care, because the school system failed him from the beginning. Until Mission. it changed (thank god) he felt cared about and important froths teachers and put plans forth so he would succeed.  because they knew his worth
lawd,the ways of white folks, huh.

however, he knew his spirit, his worth, his being
He's so amazing, but they only see numbers to process the way they deliver out their limited scholarships.  So that's why I say, fuck your scores! Fuck them.

YOU will never tell me my child isn't bright and is incapable of achieving his goals, as a learner, as a student, as an empatheth, as a successor, as damn teacher and mentor!
 Do not correct  his flaws.  embrace them and learn from them.
Learn his language of letting go and release.
Because he is never broken,
 he is an empath.
A vessel in
A broken system
which was never made for him to succeed

He has experience one does not learn in school.  He should be teaching a lot of these so-called professors with his god given nature.

Yet, he's held down because he is solid. Foundation never wavers.  Where were those teachers, who've failed him and where was anyone holding hi and telling him he's amazing and intelligent and beyond our worth here? Too far and between, is where they are planted.


  he was there. the communiy was there. i was there. his famly was there.  the school system, was not.
So, dont tell him he isnt smart enough or lacking in education, but he is going to be the one his fellow pupils to talk to when they need someone to hold them up...and this world, we have built a foundation around him,digging our feet so deep, he knows his roots will always sustain him.
