Just Wont Let Me Be

I read in past tense
I interpret the past
I intercept, the future
the present
so that I don't repeat the word
feelings
experiences
of a time not
so long ago

those days are are so close
they're etched so deep in my soul
I am anger
I am hurt
I am fragile

Just you won't let me be
White people

We conquer
We engineer
We produce
We sustain
We accomplish

Just you let me be
White people

I have hung my life on the line
of death
to pleasure your body
I have hung my life on the body
to say I am educated
I have hung my life on the line
to be in your presence

Just you won't let me be
White. people

I eat well
I speak well
I write well
I sit legs sideways in a skirt indoor presence
I smile in disdain
I smile in my hurt
I laugh through my hurt
Just you let me be

White fukcin people

Why do you want me to heurt
To die To disappear
In my home
Through my religion
Through my faith
In my home

White people

You are the Bain of my existence

White people
