let me sign

By Rob Pattinson

Standing there by the broken tree,

Her hands were all twisted, she was pointing at me.
I was damned by the light coming out of her eyes.
She spoke with a voice that disrupted the sky.
She said 'Walk on over yeah to the bit of shade,
I will wrap you in my arms and you'll know you've been saved'
Let me sign, let me sign, can't fight the devil so just let me sign.

sunday morning

By Maroon 5

Sunday morning rain is falling
Steal some covers share some skin
Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable
You twist to fit the mold that I am in
But things just get so crazy living life gets hard to do
And I would gladly hit the road get up and go if I knew
That someday it would lead me back to you
That someday it would lead me back to you

That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave

Fingers trace your every outline
Paint a picture with my hands
Back and forth we sway like branches in a storm
Change the weather still together when it ends

That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave

But things just get so crazy living life gets hard to do
Sunday morning rain is falling and I'm calling out to you
Singing someday it'll bring me back to you
Find a way to bring myself back home to you

And you may not know
That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning

first taste

By Fiona Apple

I lie in an early bed thinking late thoughts
Waiting for the black to replace my blue
I do not struggle in your web because it was my aim to get caught
But daddy longlegs, I feel that I'm finally growing weary
Of waiting to be consumed by you

Give me the first taste
Let it begin, heaven cannot wait forever
Darling just start the chase
I'll let you win, but you must make the endeavor

Oh, your love give me a heart contusion
Adagio breezes fill my skin with sudden red
Your hungry flirt borders intrusion
And I'm building memories on things we have not said

Full is not heavy as empty, not nearly my love
Not nearly my love, not nearly

Give me the first taste
Let it begin, heaven cannot wait forever
Darling, just start the chase
I'll let you win, but you must make the endeavor

The first taste
Let it begin, heaven cannot wait forever
Start the chase, I'll let you win
But you must make the endeavor

just one

To put my head down in peace. to walk without spinning. to have without dreaming. to know without guess.

I want to go there...where it's light and weightless.

She sat back thinking about the days that were so easy and necessary. How long ago they now seem. She remembers them as one looking into someone else's life, not their own. Reflecting on if she would have made one different decision, how it would have altered her life dramatically. One simple decision doesn't seem like much but can change your whole future and that of others.

She remembers how she loved him, how he loved her, how they loved together. It was endless, or so she thought at the time. That it would go on forever that way, that there would be no other way. To feel love throughout your whole body, to be dizzy in it.
